| Greenware® will begin to break down at 150º F and 90% humidity (ideal composting conditions). In approximately 50 days within those conditions, the cups will be completely gone. Greenware® Cups have met stringent, scientifically based specifications and have been certified 100% compostable by the Biodegradable Plastics Institute. NatureWorks™ Poly Lactic Acid(PLA), is a resin derived entirely from natural corn materials.
